GENERAL TIPS FOR USING DYNAMITE® PRODUCTS FOR DOGS
Start with the basic program. Showdown® is a basic nutritional support for all dogs. This product is the basis of the Dynamite® program. The typical customer is attracted to all of the specialty products and is tempted to think "more is better", or to skip the basic program and go right to the other products. Remember that good health is balance and that supplementation at low optimum levels will often provide the body with the necessary catalysts. If after 60 days on the basic program a need for additional support is determined, other products can be added to the basic program. Dynamite Dog Food is a great, naturally preserved food with a maintenance level of Showdown® built right in. Under the strss of pregnancy, lactation, growth or competition, additional Showdown may be added to our food. Please advise customers to use a premium naturally preserved food if the Dynamite food is unavailable to them.
Start on the products slowly. As when you introduce any new product to your dogs, it is best to start with half the recommended levels of Showdown®, and to support digestion with DynaPro(tm). If the dog is on a premium diet that contains fortification such as Dynamite® Dog Food, you may only need to feed this lower level indefinitely. Otherwise, gradually increase to the full level over a week or ten day period, until optimum results are seen.
Adjust the levels of supplementation to meet individual needs. Remember that every dog is different, and that the recommended feeding levels of the products are guidelines. Some dogs do well on low levels, and others will need more depending upon stress and activity levels. Experiment to find the best program and combination for your particular animal or breed. Dyna Coat(tm) and Elite(tm) are very potent supplements, and in many cases "less is more". Some people use a very low level of Dyna Coa(tm) indefinitely, and others use the full level just for a few weeks, for example.
As you add in any of the specialty products, you may need to reduce the level of the basic supplement. If you choose to feed Dyna Coat(tm) for a few weeks, you might want to reduce the level of Showdown® . FeedingElite(tm)usually requires that you drop the Showdown® for a few days. Dogs' needs will also change with the seasons, activity and stress levels, and as their bodies become optimally mineralized through the use of these products.
You may not need to feed supplements every day.Jim suggests that supplements be skipped one day a week, to allow the body to flush any excess. Pick a day when activity and stress are low; in fact, many successful owners and handlers fast their dogs one day each week. Also remember that it is not possible to maintain an animal at a peak indefinitely. As you become more familiar with the products and how each dog responds to them, you will be better able to make informed decisions about how to cycle the various products to achieve optimum results at the desired time.
